Art in Space - Planet Labs

Planet Labs has launched hundreds of satellites and is successfully capturing an archived image of our earth. These satellites are called Doves.

I believe that we have a responsibility to sustain this planet as we migrate outwards as a species. In producing the first art show in space, I decided that the subject matter would be images of migratory animals laser etched into the sides of the satellites. These graphic animals will hopefully remind us to be responsible and respectful for this earth that we share. Every project that I produced at Planet has a thematic connection to nature.
